Conference and Event Services

Conference and Event Services (CES) serves as a centralized resource for internal and external customers who sponsor campus events, programs, and conferences that align with the University’s mission. CES acts as a liaison between University service providers and event planners to improve event planning efficiencies and support diverse needs, such as visits to Princeton by heads of state and dignitaries. The department provides guidance and education on event related policies and compliance, including, the administration of the Policy for Programs Involving Minors. CES also administers University policies concerning the use of University resources by external groups and organizations. The CES office coordinates the University’s summer programs and use of the University’s facilities in support of the University’s education and research mission.

CES also provides space scheduling support for the University, offering guidance to groups and individuals searching for appropriate space to hold an event or program. CES manages the University’s centralized space scheduling system, EMS, which provides a centralized resource for campus users, as well as aids the University in terms of space scheduling, campus planning, and emergency preparedness.
