Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to announce that the nomination process is officially open for our 2024-2025 University Services Rewards and Recognition Program.  

The Rewards and Recognition Program is one of many ways that we celebrate the hard work and outstanding achievements of our team and instill a culture of appreciation throughout our organization.  We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the awardees with an in-person celebration on Friday, March 14, 2025. Each award category reflects elements of our three principles and our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as the University’s commitments to community service and sustainability. 

For 2024-2025, six awards will be available to staff: 

  • Customer Service Award (Service Excellence)
  • Innovator/Visionary Award (Efficiency & Effectiveness)
  • Individual Foundation Award (Team and People)
  • Team Foundation Award (Team and People)
  • D&I Spirit Award (Diversity and Inclusion)
  • The Laura Wooten Service Award (In Service of Humanity)

All staff are invited and encouraged to participate in the nomination process. Staff may nominate a co-worker, a direct report, or a manager in any department within University Services or they may nominate themselves. The nomination period will remain open until Sunday, December 29, 2024. 

There are several ways to submit nominations. You may complete online nomination forms, found on the Rewards and Recognition website: https://usrecognition.princeton.edu/nominate, or you may complete and submit printed forms, which are attached to this email. Printed copies may be available in your unit, as requested by your manager. Staff may also contact Princeton Writes at [email protected] or 609.258.9980 for assistance with filling out the nomination form(s).
